Do you know how many cash-in-hand mowing guys out there do not have insurance?
Well, we think your home and wellbeing are too valuable to risk. So whether you are a GreenSocks Customer or Mowing Provider, you can rest easy knowing that lawn mowing jobs booked via GreenSocks are covered by a $10 million insurance policy (for third party property damage and personal injury claims against Mowing Providers) placed by Lloyd’s of London approved coverholder Savannah Insurance Agency Pty Ltd. This insurance cover only applies to jobs booked via (and specified with) GreenSocks.
Important: This policy covers property damage and personal injury claims from customers and third parties against Mowing Providers. Personal injury to Mowing Providers, as well as the damage to Mowing Providers’ property, is not covered under this policy – except for Mowing Provider tool theft (outlined below).
What is Covered?
GreenSocks insurance covers our Mowing Providers’ liability for personal injury (bodily injury, invasion of privacy, defamation, assault or battery) and property damage (physical damage, destruction or loss of tangible property or loss of use of tangible property) subject to our insurance policy terms and conditions.
Please note that each claim is subject to an Excess payable by the GreenSocks Mowing Provider making the claim.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY:
$10,000,000 any one Occurrence
$10,000,000 any one Occurrence and in the Aggregate during the Policy Period
Care Custody & Control:
$100,000 any one Occurrence and in the Aggregate during the Policy Period
Errors & Omissions:
$50,000 any one claim and in the Aggregate during the Policy Period
Miscellaneous Tools of Trade Extension: (Theft; Damage by forcible entry)
All claims must be lodged prior (not after) replacement of tools.
$1,000 any one Occurrence
Repairs of lawn mowers and other tools of trade are not included in this policy.
Lawn mowing providers are responsible for carrying any other necessary insurances as are required by law or any relevant professional body, including without limitation in respect of personal accident or injury, public liability and products liability insurance in an amount that would be reasonably expected of a prudent provider of similar services.
I’m a Mowing Provider. What’s My Excess if I Make a Claim?
Broken Glass/Window Liability:
(for glass/windows belonging to customers and third parties)
All Other Claims:
(for bodily injury to customers and third parties and/or damage to property belonging to customers and third parties – other than broken window/glass)
What is NOT Covered?
Lawn mowing services jobs not booked via GreenSocks are not covered by our GreenSocks insurance. For example, if a regular customer job was first booked via GreenSocks but then the Mowing Provider did additional work for the customer not booked via GreenSocks, then this additional work is not covered by our GreenSocks insurance.
In addition, prior claims or known circumstances that occurred before a Customer or Mowing Provider was covered by our GreenSocks insurance, are not covered by our insurance.
