If you love being out in the garden and you live on Brisbane’s northside, you may have already had the pleasure of visiting the delightful Eden Gardens in Carseldine.
If not, these photos from our most recent visit are for you. Hopefully, they might help capture a glimpse into this famous garden centre for celebrity models (granted, that was their Sydney store… but Brisbane can ride on the coat tails of this celebrity fame!).
Welcome to Eden Gardens
Upon arrival, you are met with this beautiful welcome area. You can tell straight away that someone has put some serious thought into showcasing creativity at the entrance and making visitors feel like they’re entering something special.
Next, when you walk through the main indoor centre, it’s truly a feast for your eyes: colourful flowers, exotic plants, home and garden ideas, knick knacks for purchase, and a cafe designed for you to sit down and talk all about it.
It’s just a lovely experience. And the treats at the cafe where just what the doctor ordered after our long morning of mowing lawns, weeding gardens and trimming hedges!
If you’re feeling inspired but not confident in your own abilities to design and manicure your own piece of backyard paradise, this promo sign suggests that Eden Gardens offer not just DIY garden supplies, but on-demand garden landscaping services as well. (Update: Eden Landscape won a Silver Gilt Medal in the 2015 Brisbane Garden Show)
After spending the morning lawnmowing and gardening, we were thinking a hammock was sounding like a good option. But a secluded Balinese hut with table and chairs was almost as good. Almost.
We loved seeing the vibrant colours dotted around the gardens, because there’s just something about bright colours that puts a smile on your face, yes? If it was our centre, we’d add even more coloured walls and flowers.
Time to get back to the treats of the lovely Eden Gardens Cafe?
Yes! Even the local wildlife wanted in on the action.
Thanks Eden Gardens for another lovely afternoon wandering around your store, cafe and garden displays. Take care and we’ll be sure to visit again soon!
